S. Matthew Linville brings a wealth of knowledge and banking experience as President of Banker Exchange, LLC. Matt is responsible for general operations, the creation and oversight of the company's 1031 Bank Program and services relationships with Attorneys, CPAs and commercial brokers. Matt has previously served as a Financial Planner and Personal Trust Coordinator with a top five bank. He also served as a Relationship Manager with the institution's Like-Kind Exchange department for several years.

Immediately prior to joining the Banker Exchange team, Matt served as head of Business Development for several southeastern states with a national Qualified Intermediary. Among other accomplishments, he has provided well over 200 hours of continuing education for attorneys, CPAs and realtors on the subject of 1031 Like-Kind Exchanges. Matt's extensive knowledge of real and personal property exchanges including reverse and construction exchanges helped him to become one of a small number of people nationwide to hold the designation of Certified Exchange Specialist®.

Matt is an avid sportsman as well as an active local, state and international volunteer. He has worked directly to provide for the food needs of his community, assisted with hurricane and flood disaster relief response in the states of North Carolina, Louisiana, West Virginia, Tennessee and Florida as well as collected and delivered specific clothing needs of orphaned children in the Ukraine. He has visited China to teach English as a second language and has returned to visit and assist the areas devastated by the recent earthquake. Matt and his wife, Abigail, have been married for ten years and reside in Pilot Mountain, NC..
